Youth Rugby - Youth Rugby- K-2nd In partnership with the Portland Rugby Football Club (PRFC) we are excited to introduce the sport of Rugby to our community. This 5 week youth instructional program will emphasize the mechanics and skills of the game in a safe, fun environment. Players will learn the basics of playing offense and defense, passing and receiving, teamwork, and sportsmanship -- all in a friendly flag-football-style setting. After four instructional sessions, there will be a capstone "festival" day in Freeport, where players from the other state rugby hubs will gather for a day of competitive round-robin play, food and fun.
